Lubāna castle mound (also known as “Lapsu” (Fox) or “Priežu” (Pine) mound) is located at the western border of Dagda, on the left of Dagda–Krāslava highway. There is a lake at the foot of the mound– Lubonensh (latv.Luboneņš). The castle mound has well-equipped trails and a place for rest. There is a sightseeing square, which offers a magnificent view of the city of Dagda and its surroundings. Relative height is about 30 m.
